For many, Porsche's 993 is the pinnacle of the company's air-cooled portfolio, and it just happens to be designed by a Brit. So put the kettle on and let the cat out, as Tony Hatter takes us through his Porsche career.
Style for Miles hasn’t been out much lately, which has given pause for reflection. Thinking back to seminal Porsche moments, one couldn’t escape the time it ended up in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart chatting to Yorkshireman Tony Hatter, designer of, among other things, the iconic 993 and Carrera GT.
Representing Porsche Club GB at the time, it was a pleasure to chat to the affable and engaging Tony, who looked back on his early days, inspirations and creations.
So, if you can get past Style’s occasional fumblings, feel free to enjoy the musing’s of a fine British export, as he delivers insight into Porsche’s past.
