Alpine Adventures

Style for Miles continues to bring you inspired Porsche driving experiences, and these unique times demand something extra special, so EPIKdrives presents the Grand Alpine Driving Tour

You may have had time to reflect on what’s important in life recently, the daily routine feeling less of a priority compared with life affirming experiences. And if you’re reading this, then it’s also likely you’re getting itchy driving shoes…

Fortunately, premier driving experience deliverer EPIKdrives has a solution to this existential crisis - the Grand Alpine Driving Tour. Simply put, it’s an incomparable driving adventure that incorporates up to five alpine countries – together with 12 breath-taking alpine passes - covering 2100km over a minimum of 11 nights (and up to 14 if you’re in need of extended therapy).

And the accompanying vehicles ain’t bad either, all from your favourite German manufacturer, of course. There’s Boxsters, Cayman GT4s, and of course 911s, both coupe and cabriolet.

Naturally, if you’re partaking in such a momentous journey, you’d also want it to be unforgettable between those high-octane moments during the day, so the Tour also includes exquisite hotels along the route to ensure quality rest and recuperation for the next day’s adventure.

"The Grand Alpine Driving Tour has been inspired by the many incredible journeys we took into the awe-inspiring Alps.”

“We wanted to create a unique package that combines the best scenic routes and most spectacular mountain roads of five Alpine Countries - complete with the best in luxury accommodation,” says EPIKdrives travel advisor Stephan Sickert.

“This is combined with the dynamic Porsche. providing the perfect accompaniment for the challenging driving terrain, delivering the confidence of a supercar and the comfort of a luxury sedan, especially the 911s.

"We think the range of models available are perfect.”

So where to begin? After flying into the Munich and collecting your car (a ‘bring your own’ option is also available) the Bavarian Alps awaits, including the iconic German Alpine Road, then onto the most scenic alpine passes of the Swiss and Austrian Alps.

En route, you’ll be staying at iconic resorts including world-famous locations such as St. Moritz and Lake Como, together with exploring castles and palaces, and taking in fairy tale villages, green meadows, pristine lakes and stunning alpine vistas on route.

But it’s not a race, so travel at your own pace — following the pre-programmed GPS and printed Road-Book with your partner, friend or even as a small private group. Whether you are a car lover, an avid globetrotter, or simply have a soft spot for the finer things in life — this trip belongs on your bucket list.
